Traditionally, steam engines are enjoyed by Father & Son, so
here we are circa 1970, standing on Oliver Cromwell 70013
for a footplate ride at
Bressingham Gardens. Since 2008, 70013 Oliver Cromwell has
been restored to main line condition and when not on a tour
is usually kept at the
Great Central Railway, and is operated and run by the 5305
Locomotive Association.

(closed in 1958) which began as a preserved line from
Sheffield Park/Horstead Keynes in the 1960s, was
re-opened as far as East Grinstead, a fantastic achievement.
