Overview

The 1960s saw a massive phase of redevelopment in Southend Town which was to shape its future for the next 50 years and beyond...

Here is a personal view of the slowly changing face of buildings and roads in Southend Town, as the legacy and dreams of the 1960s and 70s-built centrepieces still (in the 2010s) linger on.
